Arrest culprits: IUML

January 28, 2015 12:00 am | Updated 05:38 am IST - Kozhikode:

The Indian Union Muslim League (IUML) State general secretary K.P.A. Majeed has demanded that that the police immediately arrest the real culprits behind the violence and looting at Thooneri near Nadapuram in the district.

In a release issued here on Tuesday, Mr. Majeed said that a number of incidents in which the attackers loot houses following a murder had taken place in the region. “But the police are acting inefficiently and apathetically,” he alleged. Mr. Majeed also maintained that the IUML had no role in any of the criminal activities including the murder that took place in the region.
