Quentin Tarantino treats ‘Hateful Eight’ cast to movie night

Quentin Tarantino — who just began filming his anticipated Western, “The Hateful Eight,” in Colorado — hosted a movie night for his cast on Saturday.

Movie nut Tarantino, whose latest project stars Channing Tatum, Kurt Russell and Samuel L. Jackson, showed Jackson’s new film, “Kingsman: The Secret Service,” by “X-Men: First Class” director Matthew Vaughn, on location in Telluride.

Spies said Tarantino’s cast was “cheering and applauding,” and he was overheard comparing the movie’s action sequences to “old Jackie Chan films.”

Tarantino vowed last year to shelve “Hateful Eight” when its top-secret screenplay leaked online, but moved ahead after Harvey Weinstein backed the project.
