SHEIKHUPURA
The 15 days anti-measles campaign kicked off in the district which will continue till Feb 9.
More than 908,517 children from aged between six months to 10 years will be vaccinated during the drive.
According to Sheikhupura DCO Rashid Kamalur Rehman, the health department has constituted more than 450 teams to carry out vaccination in all 112 Union Councils of the district.
He said that 746 supervisors would also perform duty to ensure effective coverage to eliminate the disease.
He appealed to the general public, social and religious circles to extend cooperate to the teams to make the anti-measles campaign a success.
