Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu should focus on problems facing the State like the beach erosion rather than spending time on overseas tours, president YSR Congress Y.S. Jaganmohan Reddy said.

Speaking briefly to media at the site of beach erosion here on Tuesday, Mr. Jaganmohan Reddy said the government should put in place long-term measures to arrest the beach erosion and not waste public money on short term solutions.

The short term solutions like using boulders and debris for filling up the eroded sections would only benefit contractors belonging to the Telugu Desam Party, he said.

The Government does not appear to be sincere in solving the problem as no action has been taken on the report submitted by the experts from Andhra University, Mr. Jaganmohan Reddy said.
