T Rajaiah suffers from chest pain

Doctors advised him to stay back, but he was not willing

Hyderabad: Former Deputy CM T. Rajaiah, who was rushed to Apollo Hospital with chest pain on Tuesday evening, left the hospital against medical advise late at night.

His blood sugar levels had normalised and he stated that he wanted to go home, a hospital officer said.

“Doctors advised him to stay back, but he was not willing. He signed on the discharge registrar and left against medical advice,” the officer added.

Speaking to the media outside the hospital, Dr Rajaiah said he had not committed any mistake and that the Chief Minister should order a probe into the alleged irregularities committed during his tenure.

He said he would come out clean. “KCR is like my father. I am confident he will do justice,” he said.

Dr Rajaiah said he was disturbed after hearing of his sacking; He did not have have sufficient sleep for the last five days after media reported the irregularities.

“I am a diabetic and also suffer from high BP, the news of the dismissal worsened my condition,” he said.

Dr Rajaiah had been rushed to hospital at 6 pm after he complained of chest pain and fatigue. His supporters gathered outside the hospital and shouted slogans against the CM.
