SSC Recruitment at 62,390 posts: Written test on October 4
The candidates who wish to apply should have qualified Class 10th from a recognised Board.
Staff Selection Commission (SSC) has invited applications from Indian citizens to fill up 62,390 vacancies in Indo Tibet Border Police Force (ITBP), Border Security Force (BSF), Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF), Central Industrial Security Force (CISF), Sashastra Seema Bal (SSB), National Investigation Agency (NIA) and Assam Rifles.
The candidates who wish to apply should have qualified Class 10th from a recognised Board. They should age between 18 and 23 years as on January 1, 2015, however, age relaxation is applicable for candidates belonging to reserved category. Besides, the candidates are required to fulfill the criterion for physical standards, they have been listed below:
Physical standards:
Height: Male: 170 cms, Female: 157 cms
Chest: Male Only: Unexpanded - 80 cms, Expanded: Minimum expansion 5 cms
Weight: Proportionate to height and age as per medical standards.
The candidates will be short listed on the basis of their performances in the Physical Standard Test (PST), Physical Efficiency Test (PET), written exam and medical examination. The written exam is scheduled to be held on October 4, 2015.
The candidates who get selected will be paid as per the pay scale PB-1 Rs 5,200-20,200 + GP Rs 2,000.
