Kim Kardashian thinks it’s important to “have a sense of humour”.

The 34-year-old stars in a Super Bowl commercial for cellular service provider T-Mobile, which sees her poking fun at herself taking selfies.

Kim is known for taking an immense amount of these types of photographs and although some criticise her for it, she believes selfie-taking should be a laughing matter.

"I think you have to have a sense of humour,” she told ET Online. “The commercial is so funny and I think for once, you know, you see I'm kind of poking fun at the idea of the ridiculousness of everyone and their selfies. I love it. I'm a big fan of selfies. I've taken them for decades."

Kim is married to rapper Kanye West and the glamorous couple share 19-month-old daughter North together.

She loves her marriage as the stunning brunette considers Kanye her best friend.

"We stay home and hang out, we are truly obsessed with each other," Kim gushed. "I mean, we do everything [together] from right as I was leaving here, like, 'How do I look babe? How does my outfit look?' And you know, he's like 'Eww, those shoes are bad, take those off, here, put these on, OK, are you hungry? Here, let me hurry up and make your lunch before you go.’ We are together all the time and always wanting each other's opinions -- and we are just best friends."

Earlier this month, In Touch magazine Photoshopped a cover of her stepfather Bruce Jenner, dolling him up with female clothing and makeup as rumours circulate claiming he is undergoing a gender transformation.

But Kim isn’t concerned about whether he becomes a woman or not.

"He's our dad so we support him no matter what, and I think when the time is right, he'll talk about whatever he wants to talk about,” she said.
