Qinetiq Hires MBDA’s Wadey as CEO After Quinn’s Move to Balfour

Qinetiq Group Plc recruited the head of missile maker MBDA’s British arm to replace ex-chief executive officer Leo Quinn, who took charge of builder Balfour Beatty Plc on Dec. 31 after five years running the defense specialist.
Steve Wadey, managing director of MBDA UK and technical director of MBDA Group, becomes CEO in the second quarter, with David Mellors, who stood in after Quinn’s exit, reverting to his role as chief financial officer, according to a statement.
