In terms of compatibility, this release can be applied on system configurations powered by one of Microsoft’s Windows 7, 8, or 8.1 platforms, either 32- or 64-bit variants.
Besides the operating system, your configuration must also include a supported adapter, as this release is valid for Intel’s Centrino Advanced-N 6200, 6205 (desktop), 6230, and 6235 devices, Centrino Ultimate-N 6300 units, as well as for its Centrino Wireless-N 105, 135, 2230 products.
In addition to that, the producer’s Wireless-N 7260 and 7265 chips, Dual Band Wireless-AC 3160, 7260 (desktop), and 7265 components, as well as its Dual Band Wireless-N 7260 and 7265 network adapters, are also compatible with Intel’s 17.14.0 PROSet/Wireless files.
