Bogie of Shalimar Express got derailed, service resumes after repair
Train met an accident when the last carriage of train slipped from track during the railroad switch.
FAISALABAD (Dunya News) – Bogie of Shalimar Express got derailed on Tuesday affecting the train service for an hour.
According to the details, train from Lahore to Karachi nearly met an accident when the last carriage of train slipped from track during the railroad switch that disrupted the service for an hour. Bugti Express, Karakorum Express and Pakistan Express approaching from the opposite direction were stopped from afar.
Railway administration reached the site of incident and resumed the service after repairing the railroad switch whereas the train set off after the derailed carriage was detached.
No life loss was reported in the incident.
