Arsenal have been dubbed "vultures" and warned off Palermo wonderkid Paulo Dybala as the Italian club's owner Maurizio Zamparini admitted he is struggling to keep hold of his prized asset, reports London24.

The 21-year-old has impressed this season, prompting his value to rise to a reported £30m and Arsenal are leading the race to sign the Argentinean.

Zamparini admits interest from major clubs has affected contract talks with the midfielder and has stated he does not want to let Dybala leave.

“We are very close to a contract renewal and it’s a matter of days, but the negotiations are being complicated by the vultures circling him,” he said.

“Due to this pressure, it will be difficult to keep hold of him at the end of the season. I don’t want to sell my best players, it is they who cannot say no when offered four or five times what they can earn here. However, if I find a strong economic partner, then I’m keeping him.”
