Telangana Minister for IT and Panchayat Raj K. Tarakarama Rao has decided to visit districts later this month to speed up the water grid works.

He will visit Mahabubnagar, Warangal and Khammam districts on January 27, 28 and 29, and will complete visits to all districts by February 10. The minister has directed the Rural Water Supply Department officials in the district to be prepared with power point presentations on the water grid works .

In a video conference held with district officials from RWS-ENC office here on Sunday, the minister stated that orders on reorganising the department would be issued in a couple of days. He asked the officials to complete the line survey without wasting time.

He further wanted them to be ready with estimates for intake wells as tenders could be called for immediately after the formal launch of the project works. The pylon being constructed for the launch would be completed by February 10 and Chief Minister K. Chandrasekhar Rao would lay foundation stone for project works soon after.
