President’s medal for 11 cops from Pune

Five policemen from the State Reserve Police Force (SRPF), three from state prisons department and one each from city police headquarters, wireless department and state CID have bagged the President’s Police Medal for meritorious service.

Pune: Five policemen from the State Reserve Police Force (SRPF), three from state prisons department and one each from city police headquarters, wireless department and state CID have bagged the President’s Police Medal for meritorious service.
The awardees from state prisons department include jailor of Yerawada central prison Tatyasaheb Sadashiv Nimbalkar and police constables Ravindra Rama Pawar and Sanjit Raghunath Kadam.

Four policemen from SRPF (Group I) in Pune include sub-inspectors Tukaram Bhausaheb Patil and Shivaji Tukaram Dhuri, assistant sub-inspectors Ulhas Ramchandra Gavkar and Jivankumar Gajendra Kapure. Constable Trimbak Govinda Gharat from SRPF (Group II) has also bagged the police medal.
Assistant sub-inspector (police headquarters, Shivajinagar) Suresh Dinkar Ingawale, constable from the wireless department, Pune, Kamalakar Ramchandra Jadhav and constable from CID, Pune Ramchandra Kanhu Tapkir are among the awardees.
