Asha’s melodies kick-start Nagpur Mahotsav

Legendary singer Asha Bhosle gave a melodious start to Nagpur Mahotsav organised by Nagpur Municipal Corporation.
With Marathi abhangs and film songs like Ka re abola, Malamali maze tarunya and Sharad Sundar Chanderi, Asha tai cast a magical spell and the audience responded with loud applause. A few anecdotes that she shared in her inimatable pleasant manner won the audience’s approval.Well-known Marathi playback singer Ravindra Sathe also presented songs Usha kaal hota hota, Thakar thakar and Jhambul piklya jhadakhali. Organiser of the event, Sandeep Joshi, NMC commisioner Shravan Hardikar, Mayor Pravin Datke were seen enjoying the do. Union Minister Nitin Gadkari was also present along with his family.
