The escalating demand for energy against its diminishing supply has made it imperative to increase the exploration and production activities and invest in the discovery of new oil and gas fields, thus paving way for the development of EPC (Engineering, Procurement and Construction) projects in the sector. The success of an EPC project depends on clear understanding between all the stakeholders involved from the oil operators to the contractors/sub-contractors to the vendors and the suppliers. However, EPC projects are subject to cost overruns, delayed project deliverance, faulty equipment, health and safety issues giving cause to disputes and disruptions. These can be mitigated through efficient and effective management, solutions, technologies and technical training. The EPC Technical Conference has been designed specifically to cater to the needs of all the oil and gas stakeholders involved in current or planned EPC projects. It will also give an insight to the new players in the industry planning to expand their domain in the oil and gas sector.
