IAS for two state govt officials

THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: Two non-state civil service officers - U V Jose and R Girija - have been conferred IAS. They will be on probation until further orders to induct them into the Kerala cadre under rule 5(1) of the IAS (cadre) rules, 1954.
Jose is the project director of Kerala State Urban Development Project (KSUDP) now while Girija is serving as district planning officer, Alappuzha.
Jose had earlier served in various capacities, including additional director of tourism.
Girija, the joint director of planning board, had earlier served in KSUDP, Kudumbashree and Kerala State Backward Class Development Corporation.
