Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan is expected to arrive in Djibouti  for a one- day visit, which will see the two sides sign agreements for cooperation on investment and trade, an official source said.

Erdogan, who is to make his first visit to Djibouti, will be accompanied by a large delegation comprising of government officials and about 20 businessmen.

The Turkish president and his Djiboutian counterpart are expected to discuss ways of reinforcing bilateral cooperation in several areas including trade, investments, education, health, culture, research and sports, the source said.

They are equally expected to discuss ways and means Djibouti can facilitate access of Turkish industrial exports to the African markets.
