LAHORE  - World will get the glimpse of Christiano Ronaldo in the Cricket World Cup 2015 as Pakistani middle order aggressive batsman Umar Akmal copied Portuguese skipper’s hairstyle.
Umar, who has played 102 matches for his national side, had been out of form since a long time so he decided to bring change and opted to copy Ronaldo’s hairstyle. Umar also believes in superstitious who has recently changed his shirt number for the World Cup after getting advice from his ‘spiritual guide’ following his bad form. Umar though has followed Ronaldo’s hair cut but one could hope he would not meet the same fate as of Ronaldo in the mega event as Ronaldo’s Portugal side was dumped out from the World Cup in group stage.
Umar will be wearing the jersey number 3 in the World Cup instead of number 96. Haris Sohail also changed his shirt number and has opted 89 instead of 80. Recently, Umar has become the father of a baby girl but he has to leave his newly born child as he is in the Pakistan’s World Cup squad. Umar expressed his sadness in one of his tweets.
