25 injured as tractor overturns near Nagpur

CHANDRAPUR: As many as 25 persons were injured, 10 of them critically, when a tractor carrying them overturned at Kota Poachampalli village in Sironcha tehsil of Gadchiroli on Saturday. The injured, including 23 women and two men, were all farm labourers and heading for work to Karaspalli when the mishap took place.
As the accident took place near Poachampalli bus stand, onlookers immediately rushed the injured passengers to Sironcha Rural Hospital.Critically injured Satyakka Bandarkanti, Yellakka Bandarkanti, Rajakka Dasri, Amruta Yumrla, Malayya Dasri and five others were later shifted to Mancherial in Telangana for treatment. Sironcha police registered an offence against tractor driver Yeduri Samayya and arrested him.
