Tickets for Republic Day Parade on sale from Thursday

Sale of tickets for the Republic Day Parade at Rajpath and Beating Retreat Ceremony at Vijay Chowk will start at various venues in the Capital this coming Thursday.

Tickets for the Republic Day Parade on January 26 have been priced at Rs.300 and Rs.150 for reserved seats and Rs.50 and Rs.10 for unreserved seats. Tickets for the Beating Retreat Ceremony (full dress rehearsal) on January 28 have been priced at Rs.50 and Rs. 20 respectively. The ceremony will not have reserved seats.

The non-department sale counters have been set up at the India Tourism Development Corporation travel counters at The Ashok and Janpath hotels, the Delhi Tourism and Transportation Development Corporation counters at Coffee Home, Baba Kharak Singh Marg; Food and Craft Bazar, Dilli Haat, opposite the INA Market; and Shri Gandhi Ashram in Chandni Chowk. Tickets at these counters will be available only on working days.

Tickets will also be available at nine departmental counters on all days between 10 a.m. and 5-30 p.m. (without lunch break). The counters are located at North Block roundabout, South Block roundabout, Pragati Maidan (Gate No. 1, Bhairon Road), Jantar Mantar (Main Gate), Shastri Bhawan (near Gate No. 1), India Gate (near Jamnagar House), Red Fort (near police picket) and Parliament House (Reception Office).

Tickets at the Parliament House Reception will be available from January 19 to January 28 from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. (Saturday/Sunday/holiday closed). Tickets are also available at Government of India Tourist Office at 88 Janpath (Sunday closed).

The sale counters at Jantar Mantar, South Block roundabout, Shastri Bhawan (near Gate No. 1) and India Gate will function from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. from January 23 to January 25.
