Promising “an afternoon of irresistible cuteness and furry fun,” KDVR/FOX 31 presents the 17th annual “Pledges for Pets Telethon” Jan. 25 from noon to 5 p.m. Denise Plante and Murphy Huston of KOSI 101 serve as hosts for the Denver Dumb Friends League television benefit with a goal of raising more than $300,000 to provide care and services for cats, dogs, small animals and horses. The telethon features behind-the-scenes tours of the shelters, stories from pet owners and a showcase of adoptable animals.
