What worried Radhika during Rudratandava

When Radhika Kumaraswamy, who has been in Sandalwood for a while, was paired opposite Chiranjeevi Sarja for director Guru Deshpande’s Rudratandava, she was thrilled that she would be working with a new co-star. But the launch day had this excitement turn into nervousness, when mediapersons quizzed her about her age difference with Chiranjeevi, possibly wondering if she was older than him.This thought kept eating at Radhika’s mind, and she finally decided to ask the actor directly.
“It was the first day of shoot. I was very curious about the age issue, and after the first shot, I decided to ask Chiranjeevi directly for his date of birth. He thought I was into astrology and answered earnestly. When I heard the date and year, I heaved a heavy sigh of relief, as I realized that he’s actually older than me. Later, we had a good laugh about this,” she recalls. The actress adds that people have enjoyed the chemistry between the duo, especially in the Yaree Yaree Hudugi song.
