Collector Kona Sasidhar has appealed the officials to ensure that the grievances of people are addressed in a timely and compassionate manner.

Mr. Sasidhar, who took charge as the Collector on Friday at the Collectorate, immediately got down to business and held a meeting with all district level officials. “I urge all of you to take up an opportunity to serve the district, ushering in positive changes,” Mr. Sasidhar told the officials.

Listing out his priorities, he said focus would be laid on the implementation of government’s seven missions, five grids and five campaigns. The immediate challenge is drinking water woes in the district and generation of employment in rural areas.
