Ms Narayana passes away
Popular Telugu comedian MS Narayana, 63, passed away in a hospital in Hyderabad on Friday morning, a day after his false death report made headlines. Doctors cited multi-organ failure as cause of death. He was initially diagnosed with malaria in a hospital in Bhimavaram and brought to a corporate hospital four days ago.

The actor, who worked in over 700 films over four decades, is survived by his wife and two children -- son Vikram and daughter Sasikiran.

Mylavarapu Surya Narayana was a teacher who took to writing after he witnessed hundreds of deaths in cyclone hit-Andhra Pradesh in 1997. He then moved to acting and became a popular comedian. He has bagged five Nandi awards and a Filmfare award among others.

His last rites will be performed in Moinabad, on the outskirts of Hyderabad city on Saturday.
