JAMMU, Jan 23: A meeting of Diploma Engineers Association of PDD unit was held under the presidentship of Er Jaipal Sharma, president, wherein matter related to unbundling of PDD was discussed, today.
The association unanimously emphasized that before implementing unbundling process of PDD a blue print in this regard be provided/circulated for threadbare discussion among the rank and file of engineering fraternity. The members were of the view that due to unilateral approach of the authorities for forced implementation of unbundling a gloom of uncertainity is looming around the cadre because the document prepared by the Price Water Cooper has shown the strength of AEs as 243 instead of 460 in addition to other discrepancies.
The association urged the Government to safeguard the interest of all the Diploma Engineers who have been working tirelessly round the clock.
Prominent among others who attended the meeting were Vijay Sharma, B N Sethi, Pradyuman Sharma, Rakesh Goswami, H S Puri, Sanjay Sharma, Ravi Khah, Naveen Sharma, Amit Gupta, Vishan Anand and Amrish Dutt.
