NAGPUR
: Sanskrit Yogesh Desai, who secured an impressive 2nd all India rank (AIR), was among the several students from the city to have excelled in the exam for the foundation course conducted by the
Institute of Company Secretaries of India (ICSI) on December 27 and 28 last month.
A total number of 358 students from Nagpur chapter of ICSI appeared in this examination out of which 175 successfully cleared it. The chapter achieved an impressive result of 48.88%.
Across the country 444 students have made it to the all-India merit list, which includes 13 from Nagpur.
Few meritorious students whose hard-work and perseverance have paid off are Ridhi Harish Varma (8), Sarbani Tej Puri (10), Diksha Heliwal (11), Anchit
Rajesh Sharma (12), and
Twinkle Sohanlal Sharma (15).
Seven other students are also bracketed between AIR 15 and 25. But the real test of the successful students is on February 25, when the results for the ICSI main examination will be declared. Nagpur chapter chairman
Manish Rajvaidya hailed the success of city branch and also congratulated all the rank holders. He said their names have been put up on the institute’s board.
