AirAsia chief: Operational standards 'not below par'

Tony Fernandes, the chief executive of AirAsia, has denied that its operational standards are "below par".

He also said that it was "too early" to draw any conclusions on the cause of the recent crash but said data from the black box was in "good condition"

He also called for a common standard for aircraft operations and safety across south-east Asia.
