RINKER, KEVIN MICHAEL of Rio Rancho, NM passed away unexpectedly on December 26, 2014. Kevin was born on February 17, 1961 in Albuquerque, NM to his parents Carolyn Joyce Roller and Carl Roller (both deceased). He is survived by his step-father, Gerald Rinker of Treasure Island, FL; his grandfather, Okey W. Williams of Albuquerque; Sisters: Tamera Uthurralt of Seminole, FL; Christy Van Ness of Wake Forest, NC; and Karen Roller of New Mexico. Also, his Uncle, Terry Williams of Albuquerque and Aunt, Tammy Williams Lawrence, of Oregon. One of Kevin's favorite pastimes was flying high above the mesas of New Mexico after he obtained a private pilot license. He also enjoyed spending time in the desert looking for Native American artifacts (specifically arrowheads). He became quite knowledgeable about New Mexico archeology and was "A Certified" as to determining the value of ancient Native American works from arrowheads to pottery. Kevin also enjoyed spending time with his dogs, Hunter and Sammy. Professionally, Kevin held several managerial positions in the New Mexico restaurant industry, most recently as General Manager at several local establishments.
