NNA - Lebanese President Michel Sleiman on Wednesday affirmed that Lebanon still preserves the best cordial ties with Saudi Arabi despite the Insulting poster for Saudi King raised in Metn yesterday.
Speaking at the beginning of the Cabinet session today in Baabda, Sleiman urged abiding by Baabda Declaration and not interfering in other countries' affairs, mainly Arab ones.
The President also refused statements voiced against Bahrain and affirmed the good ties Lebanon enclosed with this state.
Pertaining to the UCC's general strike Sleiman said the strike will not ensure proper funds and that the scale was being studied in a way that ensured the country's entire interest.
"We approved the salaries' scale and the Cabinet will refer it to the Parliament as soon as possible," Sleiman said.
