Music and dance event at Vasantrao Deshpande Hall in Nagpur

Nagpur’s music and dance aficionados couldn’t stop applauding when they witnessed an amazing mélange of various art forms under one roof at Vasantrao Deshpande Hall.
Vocalist Abhishek Marotkar set the mood by rendering some beautiful raga-based bandish. Classical dancers Reshma Jamsedkar (Bharatnatyam) and Kavita Jaggam (Kathak) together took the evening to another level with their impeccable synchronisation, grace and footwork.We saw divisional railway manager (South East Central Railway) Alok Kansal enjoying this visual treat along with his wife, Tanuja. This gripping show, which also had a tabla recital and rock show by various artistes, cast a magical spell on the audience.
