Emptied your pockets on: I am a frugal traveller, no 5 star, no premier class etc, love to rough it out, but yes, the annual ski break with the family does cost a bit.

Panoramic Views: Gulmarg, Zermat, Aneccy or the top of any ski destination in the world.

Best Drive: South of France -Milan. Lovely beaches, hills and scenery, with perfect roads. Along the way you pass Nice, Cannes, and of course the Alps are never far away.

Gourmet gaffes: There was a menu, where the only thing I understood was partridge.

Streetfood surprises: Tapas bars in Spain / Italy.

Best bar: The Swan in Wimbledon, UK. Authentic, family, fun, sports, food, and drinks.

Bazaar Bargains: Ski weekends in Europe, using Indian holidays, which are asynchronous with European school breaks.

Goofy traveller moment: Everyone told me Switzerland was the safest, until my bag was lifted from my dining table at an Italian restaurant in Basel. Lost passports, 2 cameras, and a whole load of cash. Nowhere is safe.
