Isha finds Prithviraj and Indrajith funny
Isha Sherwani feels that 2014 was the best year ever as far as her career in Mollywood is concerned. Her film Iyobinte Pustakam was one of the critically acclaimed movies of the year, and she also got to star in one of the most anticipated films coming up next, Lijo Jose’s Double Barrel. While her co-star was Fahadh Faasil in the former, she shares screen space with Prithviraj and Indrajith in the latter.
And shooting for the film was a lot of fun, she says.
“Double Barrel is a black comedy, and when the film is a comedy, your headspace is that of fun, as an actor. The film was shot in Goa and I had a blast. It was like a bunch of friends having fun. Prithviraj and Indrajith have such a wicked sense of humour; their comic timing is kickass. We were all laughing throughout and at times had to stop shoot because someone couldn’t stop laughing. And then the cameraman would start laughing and again we would stop shoot,” says the actress.
Like the rest of the actors, Isha too will be seen in a completely different get-up in the film, which, she says, is basically an action movie. “Lijo’s treatment and style of film making are totally different. I feel lucky to have bagged such good films; this industry has been very nice to me,” says Isha, who is currently busy practising for a dance performance at the VadFest 2015, Baroda, one of the biggest art and culture festivals of the country.
