Midfielder Jacob Mellis has completed a loan switch to Oldham from Blackpool for the remainder of the season.
The 24-year-old former Chelsea trainee signed for the Seasiders during the summer after his contract with Danny Wilson's Barnsley expired. Mellis joined Blackpool when Jose Riga was manager and he has failed to become a regular fixture under current boss Lee Clark, with the majority of his 14 outings coming before he was appointed in late October.
