Competition Office clears MTel acquisition

Hungary's Competition Office (GVH) on Thursday cleared Magyar Telekom's acquisition of the network and subscribers of ViDaNet Cable Television in Budapest's District XVIII.
GVH fined Magyar Telekom, which is the Hungarian subsidiary of German telecom giant Deutsche Telekom, HUF 100,000 for its late submission of the request for approval.
