Kaushik Ganguly's Cinemawala, which goes on the floors early next month, promises a range of cinematic treats. Not only is the film slated to get a fresh lead pair ' Parambrata Chattopadhyay and
Sohini Sarkar ' but it will also see
Kamaleswar Mukherjee in a new avatar. The director, who also had a role in Kaushik's last release,
Khaad, will play a local-level political leader committed to the party and its ideology.
Kamaleswar was all praise for the director. 'Kaushik is a sensitive director and I like the way he approaches any subject," he said.
Kaushik, who has just returned from north Bengal, where
Dulal Sarkar, the lead actor of
Chotoder Chobi, was felicitated by CM
Mamata Banerjee, said, 'Sohini is a natural and has the poise required for Mou, her character. Mou is a homemaker, who is tolerant and balances her life well. I've watched her in
Phoring and
Open Tee Bioscope, and loved her performances. I wanted a powerful actress like her. However, I am yet to discuss the script with her." He was all praise for Kamaleswar as well.

Ekdin Pratidin. Now, I'll be sharing the big screen with him. I'm really happy."
Talking about the cast, producer Shrikant Mohta said, 'The curiosity level is high whenever the audience gets to see a new pair. I think Sohini and Parambrata will make a great lead jodi and our viewers will love them together on screen."
The cast has has veterans like Paran Bandopadhyay, Biswanath Basu, Aloknanda Roy, Bimal Chakraborty and others.
