Dean Winters celebrated the wrap of the first 13 episodes of the upcoming CBS show “Battle Creek” a few nights ago at Space Ibiza NY.
Winters — who plays an old-school cop partnered with preppy Josh Duhamel — was dancing with a tall, beautiful blonde as DJ Luciano spun. Meanwhile, fans were shouting out “Dennis Duffy,” for Winters’ character on “30 Rock,” and “Mr. Mayhem,” his name in Allstate commercials.
“Battle Creek” — created by “Breaking Bad” maestro Vince Gilligan — premieres Sunday, March 1, after “The Good Wife.” Candice Bergen plays his mom.
Winters is thrilled with the show. But the die-hard New Yorker told me he’s sad it shoots in “soul-crushing” Los Angeles.
