Nagarjuna to play a quadriplegic

Nagarjuna has acted in 90-odd films till date but he���s never played a quadriplegic man. It is reliably learnt that the actor is going to play a wheelchair- bound character in the upcoming multi-starrer featuring Karthi. Directed by Vamshi Paidipally, the film is an official remake of the acclaimed French film, The Intouchables. But even though it���s a remake, we���ve come to know that the director will be making a lot of changes in the script to make it more relevant to south Indian audiences.
A source reveals, ���The shooting of the film will start in April. The team has been scouting for locations in the US and other countries, but they are yet to finalise specific locations. While Karthi will be essaying the role of a caregiver, Nagarjuna will portray the role of a quadriplegic patient. The director has been making changes to the original, adding elements that will appeal to the regional audience.���
