Maputo — At least six people have died in this month's torrential rains and flooding in the central Mozambican province of Manica, according to the Manica delegate of the country's relief agency, the National Disaster Management Institute (INGC), Joao Vaz, cited in Tuesday's issue of the newsheet “CanalMoz”.
Since 24 deaths had already been reported from Zambezia province, this brings the known death toll in the current flooding to 30.
