KARACHI: Vinod Ramesh and Faraz Masih starred with telling contributions as KGA Gymkhana outclassed Orient Star CC in their KCCA president Cup fixture at the KGA Gymkhana Ground here on Monday.

Batting first, KGA Gymkhana were all out for 296 in 4.3 overs with Vinod scoring 111 in a 106-ball knock that included six boundaries. Dominic Fernandes hit four fours in making 51.

Paceman Faraz then grabbed five wickets for 38 runs as Orient CC mustered 139 all out in their chase. Sanjay Suri took two for and Fernandes two for 31.

Landhi Friends chalked up a comprehensive nine-wicket success against Mansoora Sports at the TMC Ground.

Opener Arsalan Bashir made 69 with four sixes and 10 fours as Mansoora Sports reached their modest target of 138 in 23.1 overs.

Paceman Ahsan Zafar took four wickets for 35 runs to help Nazir Hussain Gymkhana Gulberg Zone-II defeat Dacca Sports by six wickets at their own ground.
