YSR Congress is now focusing on strengthening the party organisation from grassroots level to effectively fight against the anti-people policies being taken up by the government and to stand by people, especially farmers and DWCRA groups.

Towards this end, the party has already commenced establishing village, mandal and district level committees to monitor the party functioning and to motivate the cadre in taking up different programmes. Even after eight months of rule, the Telugu Desam party has failed to fulfil its promises made to the people. More so, in the name of capital construction, farmers were being made to part their lands, without any proper compensation. All this was putting additional burden on farmers, said YSRC general secretary V. Vijay Sai Reddy.

It is not just farmers, DWCRA groups, unemployed youth and all sections were hoping that the government would address their problems but nothing concrete has been done by the TDP governmentA three-member committee comprising of party general secretaries Vijay Sai Reddy, Ummareddy Venkateswarlu and Prasada Raju visited the city on Saturday and interacted with party cadre from Krishna and Guntur districts. Meetings were conducted with the party activists apart from leaders of different employees unions.
