January 21, 2015 12:00 am | Updated 05:44 am IST - VIJAYAWADA:

Sri Durga Malleswara Swamyvarla Devasthanam will organise ‘Vijayee Bhava’ programme to bless students appearing for the examinations at Bhavani deeksha mandapam of the temple atop Indrakeeladri here on January 25 from 8 a.m. to 10 a.m.

Presiding deity goddess Kanaka Durga will be decked up as goddess Saraswati and the temple priests will conduct Sri Maha Saraswati Yagam coinciding with Sri Panchami.

Temple Executive Officer Ch. Narsing Rao said that separate queue lines will be provided to the students, who take part in ‘Vijayee Bhava’, and the temple will provide free darsan to them. They, however, will have to wear the school/college uniform and carry their identity cards, he said.

The temple would provide free ‘anataralya darsan’ to the college students. And, depending upon rush, the ‘antaralaya darsan’ would be cancelled and only ‘mukha mantapa darsan’ would be provided.

The temple will give a pen, a photo of presiding goddess Kanaka Durga and laddu prasadam to each student, he said.A free bus is arranged from Kanakadurga Nagar to Indrakeeladri for the convenience of students.
