Ekta Kaul’s ‘S’ connection

Ekta Kaul will soon enter TV show Ek Rishta Aisa Bhi as the new lead following the death of the original lead (played by Preeti Chaudhary). But what really caught our attention is the name of her character, Simmy.

Incidentally, all her major characters so far have had ‘S’ as the initial, including Sahiba in Rab Se Sohna Isshq and Suhani in Bade Achhe Laggte Hain. “I feel the alphabet ‘S’ is very lucky for me as my tracks have always shaped out well,” she says.Will the rule apply to the man of her dreams too? “I don’t want to restrict myself on that front. I will meet whoever I am destined to meet, be it ‘S’, ‘A’ or ‘W’,” she replies.
