Who says actors can't be friends? 1. At the Music Launch of Shamitabh
Rajinikanth and Amitabh Bachchan attended the launch of the music of Big B's new film Shamitabh in Mumbai on January 20. There was a bonus superstar in the form of Kamal Haasan. The three actors and actress Sridevi, who's often played their heroine, also felicitated composer Ilaiyaraaja who recently scored his 1,000th film. The grand event was also attended by the other Bachchans - Jaya, Abhishek and Aishwarya - Dhanush, Kamla Haasan's ex-wife Sarika and daughters Shruti and Akshara, actress Tabu and other celebrities.

The highlight of the International Film Festival of India 2014 in Goa last November was Rajinikanth receiving the Centenary Award for Indian Film Personality of the Year from Big B, the chief guest at the fest. Mr Bachchan called Rajinikanth "a wonderful human being" and an "incredible phenomenon."
