Four killed, two critically hurt as speeding SUV hits car

INDORE: Four persons died while two others sustained severe injuries when a speeding SUV hit a car coming from the opposite direction on late Sunday night.
The incident took place at around 10.45 pm near Depalpur in Indore district. An SUV coming from Badnagar rammed a railing on Murkheda nullah, hit a car and overturned. The impact of the collision was so severe that four people travelling in SUV succumbed on the spot.They were returning after attending a marriage ceremony.
The deceased were identified as Mangu Patel, Kanha Yadav, Umrao Yadav and Kamal Yadav of Betma.
According to staff at Depalpur police station, residents reported the matter to police and on receiving information, 108 ambulance services immediately reached the spot. Narayan Singh and Karan Singh were rushed to MY Hospital and are currently undergoing treatment. Driver of the car also got injured.
Police have registered the case and further investigations are underway.
