For the first time in over 50 years of existence, the iconic Mustang is officially going global!

The folks at Blue Oval are joyful as the pony is dispatched outside States for the very first time in unprecedented 50 years of Mustang. First shipments of the highly anticipated 2015 Mustang manufactured at Ford’s Flat Rock plant are headed for Eurasian continent (Europe+Asia), shipment will arrive in Europe by mid year.

“Henry Ford exported the sixth Model A assembled in 1903 and we continue this legacy today,” - Joe Hinrichs

Joe Hinrichs, Ford president of The Americas, commented on the first export batch of 2015 Mustang, “The success of our One Ford plan presents opportunities for growth in global markets. Exporting Ford and Lincoln vehicles to Asia Pacific and beyond is an important part of Ford’s global growth story. Mustang is just one more example of the international demand for Ford cars and trucks.”

2015 Ford Mustang is coming to more than 100 countries this year - Australia, European countries, South Africa among others. Speaking of India, since Mustang is going to other right hand drive markets, it is highly expected that it will launch in our country (maybe next year). Adding on the new Mustang, the new pony is most advanced than ever and even got the Ford’s EcoBoost heart this time, a 2.3-liter EcoBoost along with a 3.7-liter V6 and range topping 5.0 V8.
