Bangalore: Looking out an appropriate accommodation for rent in Bangalore is to be safe than be miserable. Trusting real estate brokers blindly and making a thoughtless decision may end up in combat with landlords and it also creates new issues. Finding a place you like, signing in the rental agreement and moving in will seem to be easy, but the reality is more complex. Most of the owners get so possessive towards their property and passes awful instructions where the tenants find annoying. Here are the few issues that many tenants face in Bangalore.

Security Deposit: Most of the tenants face a lot of issues regarding the rent and the security deposit. Usually landlords charge a bulk deposit at the time of transfer of property as a security deposit. As per the discussions the amount must be returned back to the tenant while vacating the property, but the landlords won’t return back the entire amount instead they deduct a large chunk of amount for some pretexts and damages made by tenants, only a fraction of amount will be returned.

Unaffordable rents: unaffordable rent is the major issue that every common man faces in cities like Bangalore. Bangalore is the most expensive city for rental values. The landlords who are renting out the apartments in Bangalore will often raise the rental amount from the current amount to five times higher without any notification to extract more money. This makes house hunting as a difficult task for tenants. In addition, this creates more fear amongst renters.

Privacy: This is other issue that faced by the tenants. All the tenants protest untimely visit of landlords as it disturbs the privacy of the tenants. Because of the possessiveness on home the owners visit their rental homes without any announcement. The fear of losing the home and respecting the owner and his possessiveness makes the tenants to stay quiet.

Repairs and Maintenance: This is one of the common issues faced by Tenants. Usually the repairs and maintenance should be borne by the owners. In spite of that the landlords hesitate to notice the things that to be repaired in the house like bathroom fittings. In addition, they will charge a large chunk of amount for repairs and sticking posters on walls.

Bachelors: This is one of the trending issues faced by Bachelors. Most of the landlords refuse to rent their property to bachelors as they think the bachelors will damage their home image.

Eviction: Every prudent Tenant should be aware of Eviction as it causes major issues. Now a day, usage of one clause to evict their tenants is increasing. Even though the tenants pay rent faithfully, the landlords will ask tenants to vacate the property immediately as they were using it for personal reason. This is one of the major issues faced by Tenants in Bangalore. So in order to avoid unnecessary issues the tenant should check legal papers and documents thoroughly before signing on rental agreement. If the tenant fails to check the agreement the landlords route to play tactics.

As many are feeling house hunting is a daunting task including issues many bangaloreans prefer to own an apartment in Bangalore.
