Senior IAS officer and Principal Secretary, Woman and Child Development, Poonam Malakondaiah has been invited to make a presentation in the three-day ‘Beti Bachao, Beti Padhav’ meet at Panipat from January 20.
All the women Chief Ministers, Principal Secretaries of States that have done some innovative work, have been invited to make presentations at the meet. Prime Minister Narendra Modi would launch the ‘Beti Bachao’ campaign on the January 22. Ms. Malakondaiah will make a presentation on January 21 on the work done by the committee comprising IAS and IPS officers on the issues related to safety and security of women.
