Hindustan Petroleum Corporation Limited (HPCL) General Manager (Retail- South Central Zone) G.S.V. Prasad inaugurated the State’s first Drive Track-Plus Centre at Arunasri Filling Station here on Monday.
Drive Track-Plus (DTP) is a customer loyalty programme targeted at fleet owners and operators. DTP cardholders can purchase of diesel at discounted prices in HPCL stations across the country. Besides, by swiping cards at DTP centres, drivers can let their location known to their owners and all transactions done by them will be sent through SMS alerts.
Inaugurating the DTP centre from where the above programme is monitored, Mr. Prasad said owners of big fleets could make substantial savings by using the cards which serve as a substitute for cash.
Insurance cover
Another benefit was insurance cover of Rs. 1 lakh each for the driver and cleaner of a vehicle in the event of their accidental death. The programme evoked good response in the South Central Zone comprising Andhra Pradesh, Telangana and Karnataka due to its varied features.
HPCL Senior Regional Manager G. Seetaramayya and Arunasri Filling Station owner K. Janardhan Rao were among those present.
