Praying to NTR for my film: YVS Chowdary

Director Y.V.S. Chowdary is struggling to release Rey, which marks the debut of Sai Dharam Tej. The film was supposed to release a couple of years ago, but hasn’t yet seen the light of day.

On Sunday, Y.V.S. Chowdary was at NTR Ghat, Tank Bund, to pay homage to the late NTR on the occasion of his 19th death anniversary. Speaking to the media, he said that he prayed for the release of Rey.

“I entered the film industry because of NTR and everybody knows that I am a big NTR fan. In all my films, I first screen an image of late NTR and then the film starts.

Early in my marriage, my wife had an abortion; I came to NTR’s Samadhi and prayed to him. Soon I got a beautiful daughter. Now I have come once again to pray to NTR for the release of my film Rey,” said Y.V.S. Chowdary.
