Free monthly pass arranged for students by the East Central Railway for students upto class 10. All the students traveling by East Central Railway can avail the free pass scheme; various boards including BSEB CBSE and ICSE are included.
The scheme is available to students only for traveling by unreserved second class journey.
How to avail the pass?
Essential: A valid Id proof is required from a recognised university
How to Apply?
The students are required to apply at their school principal's office to avail the free pass. And the copy of the same has to be forwarded to the relevant Railway division/zone.
Monthly passes are provided to the students. At the end of each month students are required to renew the pass in the process mentioned above.
Rural students who travel daily to nearby towns for schooling will be highly benefited from this scheme and concession scheme is also applicable for Post graduation students, degree college students and junior college under other Railway schemes.
